Body oil is a skincare product used to moisturize and nourish the skin on the body. It also has an added benefit when you infuse the oil and crystals with reiki energy. Reiki-infused body oil combines nourishing oils with Reiki to energetically promote balance and well-being while enhancing and harmonizing your aura. Making your self-care routine not only magical but deeply nourishing for both your body and aura, leaving you feeling balanced, radiant, and rejuvenated.
How to use.
To get the most out of your body oil, apply it to clean, damp skin to lock in moisture effectively. Allow the oil to absorb fully, then follow up by layering your favorite lotion on top for added hydration and nourishment. Alternatively, you can mix a small amount of body oil directly into your lotion before applying it to achieve a smoother, all-in-one application. This versatile approach ensures your skin stays hydrated and glowing
Do's and Don'ts
DO | DON'T |
Apply on clean and damp skin | Don't Apply on Dirty Skin |
Start with a small amount and add more if needed | Don't Overuse: Too much oil can leave your skin greasy and cause clog pores |
Pick oils suited to your skin type | Don't Use on Broken Skin |
Store it in a cool, dark place | Don't contaminate the oil with water or dirty utensils |
Shelf Life
The shelf life of body oil depends on its ingredients and storage conditions. The shelf life of flower-infused body oil is typically, 6–12 months when stored in a cool, dark place. Adding antioxidants like vitamin E can help extend its freshness.
Oils infused with fresh flowers may have a shorter shelf life, around 4–6 weeks, unless refrigerated. If you plan on making your own flower oil, I DO NOT recommend using fresh flowers, use dried herbs reduce the risk of spoilage because they contain less moisture, which minimizes bacterial growth.
Signs of going bad
Body oil is a luxurious addition to any self-care routine, offering hydration and nourishment for your skin and aura. With proper storage and quality ingredients, body oils can remain fresh and effective for months.
However, if not used in a proper time period or as instructed can cause the oil to spoil. Its important to know how to spot when your oil is going bad here are some things to look out for.
Smell : If the oil starts to develop a smell that is rancid or sour.
Appearance: changes in the form of cloudiness, sediment, or discoloration to the oil
Texture: Expired oil will feel sticky or tacky and also have an unusual consistency
If your oil has any of these qualities, it is time to throw it out and get a new one.
